We can’t uninstall the Flash Player by simply clicking on the uninstall button. The standard uninstallation of the Adobe Flash Player is not successful, the reasons can be data corruption, hard drive errors or that somehow Flash files have been deleted manually that throw the uninstallation of course.
If there are 2 versions of the Flash player plugin in your OS(probably one for IE, the other for Firefox, Opera or Google Chrome etc), both need to be uninstalled before Flash has been removed from the system. Adobe Systems Inc. is warning about a potential vulnerability in Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.1.2 and Adobe Flash Player 9 and 10. Researchers said they have uncovered attacks in the wild in which malicious Acrobat PDF files are exploiting a vulnerability in Flash and dropping a Trojan onto computers.
“The authors of the exploit have managed to take a bug and turn it into a reliable exploit using a heap spray technique,” Patrick Fitzgerald(Symantec Security) said.

Some time ago Adobe has published the 64-bit Flash Player of Linux. In fact it is one strategy step of Adobe on the more and more extensive browser platform.
